Jimmy Jones
Lead Coach
Jimmy Jones joined the CrossPurpose team in 2022 and brings nearly thirty years of youth, family and community development to his role as a Career Coach. Jimmy seeks to address economic, relational and spiritual poverty with a lasting hope, as he walks alongside the Leaders he serves. Jimmy faced many of the same life challenges as the leaders he works with. He grew up in poverty in the inner city of Denver during the 1980’s. While in high school he was invited to an after-school Bible Club program where he met one of his life mentors, Ted Travis. Ted invested many hours in him and eventually took him to a Young Life camp, where his own personal faith journey began. Jimmy seeks to invest relationally with those he influences and champion them in the same way he was invested in. The mission of CrossPurpose deeply connects, not only to his own experience, but to the calling he believes is upon his life to make a difference to the next generation.
Jimmy and his wife, Andrea have two adult sons, Jeremy and Andrew, and a daughter, Alyssa, who just started high school. They recently joined Club Mimi and Pop Pop when their first grandchild Elijah made his appearance in the fall of 2020. They are close to family and are always looking for an excuse to host a BBQ or head out for a hike in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
