Erika Estrada-Diamond

Counseling Center Coordinator

Erika joined the staff of CrossPurpose in 2024. She graduated from CrossPurpose in 2022 and has actively been involved with CrossPurpose by volunteering in a variety of ways including sharing her testimony with Leaders. Erika has a background and lived experience in mental health needs and substance misuse and has worked with LiveDifferent Recovery since 2023 to share her experience, strength, and hope with others to remind those struggling that they can and will recover.

Erika has a passion and calling to love others as Christ loved us. She acknowledges the social injustices in the world and wants to work to create laws and legislation that allow for those in these systems to thrive rather than survive. Erika is currently a student of social work through Grand Canyon University. Her mission, values, ethics, and morals perfectly align with CrossPurpose and together she feels will make a difference in the lives of our neighbors in the community.

Erika’s role at CrossPurpose is the Counseling Center Coordinator. She has experience working with adults diagnosed with severe and persistent mental health needs, histories of substance misuse, or a combination of diagnoses. Her work in a local non-profit community mental health organization has prepared her to provide trauma-informed and person-first care to others. One of Erika’s main responsibilities will be to work with the Leaders so that they can access the Mental Health services offered at CrossPurpose.

Outside of work, Erika is a mom, wife, painter, and avid movie-goer. She can be found at the skating rink with her children and loves traveling back to her home state of South Carolina.
