Levi Bowland

Levi comes to CrossPurpose with a BA in Biology and an M.Div from Luther Rice College and Seminary. Prior to CrossPurpose, he had 15 years experience working in the criminal justice field as a Parole Officer and Community Reentry Specialist. He sees CrossPurpose as a place where he can use his passion for disciple making, love for God and vocational experience in community reentry to help others address all aspects of poverty. As a Launch coach, he assists in the day to day administration of government service program offerings, provides operational support, and serves as a primary teacher for online class lessons. He’s married to his wonderful wife Sara and they have four girls. In his free time he enjoys reading, coaching softball, weightlifting, camping and leading Bible studies.
